I met Krista and Gary (& Krista’s sweet mom!) one afternoon at Starbucks. After we chatted about their story and their upcoming wedding, I knew I wanted to photograph their special day. They were so nice and their venue, Holly Hedge Estate, is one of my favorites! I knew Krista and Gary wanted a rustic engagement session. Krista, has her own horses and spends a lot of time at the farm with them. We all met up at the farm one gorgeous October day, where she boards her horses. Since I have never been there before, we took a ride in her finance, Gary’s truck, to scope out some spots for photos. The farm was such a beautiful location for a rustic engagement session, complete with high grassy field areas and a long path that was perfect for photos. Both Mr. Cash (Krista’s horse) and Dakota (Their sweet dog) joined in for some photos as well! You never really know how photos with animals will go, but Cash and Dakota were so well behaved! We got so many great photos with them. When you look through their photos below, you have to check out the gorgeous wooden sign that Gary made for their engagement session! How sweet is that?! As you can see, these two are adorable together, so it was pretty easy photographing their love. Their outfits complimented each other perfectly and Krista even switched into her cowboy boots for half of their engagement session. A true country girl! Below are a few of my favorites photos from their engagement session. I am looking forward seeing them again and photographing their Holly Hedge Estate Wedding soon!
